Item The morphology of the central nervous system of Tilapia NiloticaBuerano, Corazon C. (University of the Philippines Diliman, Quezon City, 1986-04)This paper gives an extensive description of the normal morphology of the central nervous system, specifically the brain of Tilapia nilotica stained with. Delafield’s Hematoxylin or Eosin-Hematoxylin. The description covers the 5 major brain areas namely: the telencephalon, diencephalon, mesencephalon, cerebellum and medulla oblongata. Nuclear centers, ventricles, cranial nerves, nerve commissures and sulci found in these areas are identified.
