dc.description.abstractThe study aim to determine whether there was a difference in job satisfaction among teachers, administrative personnel and teacher-administrative personnel before and after the 15th day salary. The following are file objectives of the study: (1) To determine whether there was a significant difference in job satisfaction before and after the 15th day salary was given, (2) To determine whether there was a significant difference in job satisfaction among teachers, administrative personnel and teacher-administrative personnel before the 15th day salary was given, (3) To determine whether there was a significant difference in job satisfaction among teachers, administrative personnel and teacher-administrative personnel after the 15th day salary. The following hypotheses were formulated : (1) There was a significant difference in job satisfaction before and after the 15th day salary was given. (2) There was a significant difference in job satisfaction among teachers, administrative personnel and teacher-administrative personnel before the 15th day salary was given. (3) There was a significant difference in job satisfaction among teachers, administrative personnel and teacher-administrative personnel after the 15th day salary was given. The schedule was set up by the researcher and the College Dean for Academics (study's cohort) five days before the first 15th day salary for the month of February on February 10, 1997 and after the first 15th day salary on February 20, 1997. The research instrument used was the Job Descriptive Index (Kendall and Hulin, 1969) and was used before and after the 15th day salary. There was no significant difference in the level of job satisfaction before and after the 15th day salary. The researcher also found out that there was no difference in the level of job satisfaction among teachers, administrative personnel, and teacher- administrative personnel before and after the 15th day salary.
